Lori joined LifeLine Pilots in February 2009. She received her Associate’s Degree from Illinois Central College and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Lori worked for five years in biomedical research at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria. She has been an active volunteer for the past 7 years with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), increasing funds and awareness for type 1 (juvenile) diabetes. As Volunteer Coordinator for LLP, Lori plans to increase awareness of LLP’s mission in the local community and recruit potential donors and dedicated volunteers who will help further our mission.

In January 2008, Shelly became a part of the LifeLine Pilots' team. With a kind heart and warm smile, Shelly pulls together needy passengers with generous pilots to make getting to necessary medical treatment distant from home a simple process.
